- The methods section shows how the data was collected.
- Methodology should clearly explain why that procedure was best suited for that topic.
- Explain possible problems and show the steps to prevent the problems.
- The procedures that are indepth don’t need to be explained in detail since its usually irrelevant that may boor the reader.
- Some of the different ways of researching are analysis, case study, comparison, correlation-prediction, evaluation, design-demonstration, survey-questionnaire, status, theory construction, and trend analysis.
- The writer should always keep the audience in mind when presenting information. Always avoid using the words I or we.
- The methods section should include any notes that were taken on what happened and what was done during the research process.
